Our Teachers

BRIAN HOCK (CIA, CMA) is a principal instructor for the CPA and CMA/CFM preparatory programs. Mr. Hock is also the HOCK Programs Director. He has many years’ experience of teaching to accounting and managerial skills in the CIS region. During 1997-1998 Brian taught ACCA and US GAAP for ATC International in Russia, Kazakhstan and East European countries.

	CARL BURCH (CMA, CIA) is one of the key instructors for the preparatory programs to pass CMA and CIA International Certificates qualifying exams. Carl has over 10 years’ work experience in the field of management accounting where he was involved in all aspects of accounting record-keeping, financial management and auditing.

EKATERINA VALUEVA (FCCA, DipIFR) is a major instructor in IFRS, ACCA and HOCK’s DipIFR Corporate Trainings. Ekaterina has more than 10 years’ work experience in different positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and over 5 years she occupied manager positions. Firstly, she was the Audit Department Manager and then she was appointed the Manager of the Corporate Training Center. Prior to employment at HOCK Training, Ekaterina headed HR Personnel Training Department at KMB Bank (Moscow).

ELENA SERENKO (DipIFR) is one of the instructors for the Corporate and Open Trainings in IFRS, accounting management and HOCK’s DipIFR training courses. Elena has wide experience of teaching at various trainings in financial and management accounting, IAS and IFRS issues. Besides, Elena has long-term experience of work in international trade companies as the Chief Accountant being engaged in keeping all parts of accounting and foreign economic activity. At present, Elena is taking ACCA Certificate examinations (Professional Scheme).

POLINA VERSHININA (ACCA) is the training courses instructor in taxation and IFRS issues under АСА/АССА Programs. Polina has wide practical experience with regard to finances including 4 years of work at the Tax Department of KPMG Audit Firm. She was concerned with rendering of consultancy services to the clients on the various issues of Russian and international taxation. Also, Polina has wide experience in auditing of major Russian and international companies working in different industries.

MARINA LYSUNETS is a Certified Auditor and the instructor for the training courses in taxation under АСА/АССА Programs. More than 7 years Marina worked for KPMG Audit Firm as the tax specialist where she was concerned with the auditing of financial statements of the Russian companies and their foreign subsidiaries. She took part in rendering of the consultancy services on Russian and international taxation.

ELENA ARUTUNYAN specializes in holding of Open and Corporate Trainings on IFRS issues and management accounting. Elena has wide experience of work in the field of auditing and consulting with regard to taxation and the Russian Accounting Standards.

ANDREI LUTOVINOV is the instructor for the Corporate and Open Trainings in IFRS and DipIFR (Rus) issues. Andrei has wide practical experience of work on the consulting projects in big international companies. For 2 years Andrei worked as the Chief Auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers.

ILIA AGLADZE (MBA/London Business School, ACCA) is the Corporate and Open Trainings instructor. At the company Ilia is involved in developing of specialized trainings and consulting projects aimed at meeting a client’s needs in the area of budgeting, financial analysis, IFRS, assessment of projects investment prospects and other financial programs. Ilia has many years’ working experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he headed the audit teams at auditing the financial statements of the major Russian companies of oil and gas section (GAZPROM, TNK and others). Ilia also held a position of the Chief Financial Officer at Coca-Cola Russia, BBH Ukraine and Soyuz-Victan.

TATIANA KAMENSKAYA (DipIFR) being a Certified Auditor of Ukraine, a Certified Tax Adviser, a Member of the Ukrainian Association of Auditors, Ukrainian Association of Certified Accountants and Auditors (UACAA) and Ukrainian Association of Tax Advisers is the principal instructor for the HOCK’s DipIFR training course in Kiev. Since 2001 Tatiana has taught the training courses in IFRS under various projects. They include: Accounting and Audit Reform in Ukraine Project sponsored by the Audit Chamber of Ukraine, USAID and IBTCI; mandatory postgraduate courses held by IAUMC APU “Status” and the National Accounting and Audit Center at DASOA (State Academy of Statistics, Accounting and Audit). Since 2003 Tatiana has worked as the instructor of САР and СIРА Programs. She has wide practical experience in setting of management accounting, budgeting and preparation of financial statements under IFRS.

ZOYA VINNIK (АССА DipIFR (Rus)) is a Certified Auditor of Ukraine and the HOCK’s DipIFR training course instructor in Kiev. She has over 10 years of practical work on the leading positions in the field of finances and audit: the Chief Auditor of ENERGY Audit Firm (1996 – 2001), the Manager of PROFLINE Audit Firm (2002 – 2006), the Head of Internal Audit Department of STOIC Group of Companies – a multi-industry Holding (2006 – present). Teaching experience since 1999.
